Klimbzone, the newest addition to Malaysia’s indoor climbing scene, brings a fresh and exciting climbing experience to Kuching, Sarawak. Opened in October 2022, this state-of-the-art climbing gym is located atop the Overseas restaurant, offering climbers a thrilling and accessible climbing experience with stunning views of the city.
Equipped with a range of climbing amenities, Klimbzone caters to climbers of all skill levels, from beginners to intermediates. The gym features 4 auto-belay routes, 24 top-rope routes, and bouldering walls, providing climbers with a variety of options to challenge themselves and push their limits.
With a focus on catering to beginners and intermediate climbers, Klimbzone offers bouldering routes graded between V0 to V7+ and roped routes graded between 5b to 6c. Whether you’re new to climbing or looking to improve your skills, Klimbzone provides a supportive and welcoming environment where climbers can learn, grow, and progress at their own pace.
In terms of pricing, Klimbzone offers affordable rates to ensure that climbing remains accessible to all. The standard entry price is RM 25 ($4) per entry, with discounted off-peak rates available before 4 pm on weekdays at RM 20 per entry. Youth under 18 years old enjoy an even better price at RM 18, making Klimbzone an ideal destination for climbers of all ages.
