Our Passion:
Who doesn’t like to get down and dirty with their food? The initiated know that there’s an added finger lickin’ deliciousness when you eat with your hands and here at the Louisiana Crab Factory, there’s no exception. We love our food and enjoying meals with family and friends, much like the Southern Americans who infuse Creole and Cajun cooking into their culture of relaxed backyard affairs of shared meals and large seafood boils, inviting entire communities into their homes for some serious chow down. Similar to backyard BBQ’s that you might be more familiar with, we’re big on gathering our nearest and dearest to occasions of great food and heart-felt conversation while knocking back a few good beers while we’re at it.
Our Story:
The Crab Factory was inspired by an adventurous Summer-kissed road trip where we experienced a melting pot of Louisianan culture – the home of Jazz and Blues, the love of celebration and festivals and most unforgettably, the backyard Crab Boil. We were immediately hooked and eager to bring back a taste of our travels to Malaysia to share these newfound tantalizing flavours with the discerning local food scene. For how could anyone resist a feast of the freshest seafood, doused in an aromatic blend of seasonings and spices, with all the rustic fixings of sausages, potatoes and sweet corn? Trust us, you might find yourself up to your elbows in drippings at the table, but by the time you’re done, there won’t be a drop of goodness left.
