The MO Bar at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur exudes the “signature” style and elegance of its international sibling bars, with a sophisticated interior of plush sofas and armchairs, an eminently sleek bar, with the discrete and comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of a private members club. The space has an intimate scale, and with an outlook over the verdant tropical greenery of the inner city KLCC Park- a sense of tranquility pervades. Sharing its lobby level entrance with the renowned Mandarin Grill restaurant ( one of an extraordinary total of ten different dining venues within the hotel), MO Barfeatures a compact bar to one side of its entrance, and a glass encased wine cellar and grand piano on the other. A few steps lead down to a lower level lounge space of comfortable armchair and sofa settings with a full height glass wall overlooking the exterior parkland. The distinctive bar counter is crafted with a veneer of inlaid pen shell from Bali, and topped with polished granite. The sculptured wall of gleaming chromed stainless steel adds a dramatic reflective feature to the bar space.
